Global ecology, responsibility and balanced solutions are exemplified in this series which also marks the end of the use of recycled plastic in my work.The amalgamation process had become dangerous and was emitting too many hydrocarbons into the atmosphere – making me a bigger part of the problem!In 2010, I began a gradual retreat from art-making that lasted nearly seven years.In search of equilibrium, I spent the ensuing years designing and building a wildlife sanctuary of stone, soil and native plants on our two acres in northern Nevada.
